Miss Thrifty's February 2016 Net Worth

Miss Thrifty's February 2016 Net Worth

Ah, February, the month of love. This was Miss Thrifty and Mr. Spendy's fifth Valentine's Day together. We always keep celebrations modest (and cheap!). I baked a cake, Mr. Spendy bought me some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (my fave) and some flowers.

Perhaps not the most romantic day (or month). But, it was the right time to implement some long-term cost cutters like paying a 6-month auto premium instead of monthly payments or paying double the minimum payment for my student loans.

Life is glamorous, folks. But, hey, my net worth is up by 29%!

In February, I was able to bank 46% of my paycheck to allocate toward savings and student loans. Plus, I had my biggest ever tax refund at $1100 which help to pad all of my goals. I am getting closer to the ideal of living on just half a paycheck.

Calculating my net worth is a breeze (and I don't have to log into a dozen accounts to do it) with Mint. Do you use Mint? I think it's the best free budgeting program out there.
